Fiction: *Character Focus*: What choices has the character made thus far? Do you agree with their decision? Why or why not?
The character has made some decisions where he doesn't know what to do. He gets a check and doesn't know what to do with it, so he blows it on stuff the school dance comity doesn't need. I don't agree with what he did with the money, but he was getting persuaded to use it in a bad way.
Fiction. This story would change as the kids wouldn't be doing as much things that they did. If it was in earlier times, there would be no parties or checks. Also, more people would be like Cap and living on a farm for the entirety of their life. The characters would change, the plot would change and how they act would change.
The way he wrote was more perspective of the character. What the author does is every chapter, the character POV that you are viewing changes. So when you are seeing the story through one person's eyes, it switched 5-10 pages later. I really like how he does it because it is easier to tell who is talking and what they are viewing. It is also a good format because it tells what the other characters are going through in life.

Fiction: This story teaches us that if we help and fight for what is right and never back down, then you should get rewarded later on in your life. The ww2 veteran is the last allied soldier that was deployed in Germany. He was asked to come to Ste. Régine to be honored by the people, but he brings his great grandson and his grandson along as well, showing that sharing accomplishments are a good way for people to learn.

Fiction: There isn't a connection on what the Grandpa is saying and what he has done, but the kid on the other hand, there is. He is playing World War 2 video games, which I have also played. It gets him interested on what his grandpa did and how gruesome it was. I like the type of war games because it gives you details on what, where, how, and why the war happened. its very interesting to see what the soldiers saw on different events.
